I have spent many years working within multidisciplinary teams in residential care and related services. There, I have experience with supporting children, adolescents and families with a wide range of often complex development and support needs. When needed, I collaborate with schools, therapists, physicians and municipalities.

As an orthopedagogue-generalist, I work from an integrative perspective. This means that I choose what fits the question and the child, adolescent and family involved. I use assessment purposefully: to understand, not simply to label. Sometimes a formal classification is helpful, for example to acces school support or specialist for follow-up care. More often, the main aim is to create clarity together about patterns, dynamics and what these mean in everyday life.
